Everton fans discuss bold move for Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata

Everton were one of the big spenders last season, but it did not turn out well for them as then-boss Ronald Koeman was sacked.

Two managers’ later and now Marco Silva is at the helm trying to shape a side for the upcoming Premier League season.

The Merseyside outfit recently lost Wayne Rooney to MLS as he secured a switch to DC United.

On Reddit, some Everton supporters discussed whether the club should make a surprising move for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

The Spaniard signed for Antonio Conte’s side last year, but he struggled to make a significant impact.

The 25-year-old, who has won two Champions League trophies in his career, scored 15 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions, and also created six assists.

On Thursday, reporter David Amoyal tweeted information regarding Morata’s situation, claiming that the forward wants to leave.

Some Everton fans do not think that they have a chance of securing the Spaniard’s signature, while others do not even want him.
