Lots of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the news that Henry Onyekuru is set for a move to Monaco, as reported by L’Equipe.
The Nigerian striker signed for the Toffees back in the summer of 2017 for a £7m fee, but he has never made a single appearance for the Merseysiders after having issues with obtaining a work permit.

The 22-year-old has since spent time on loan at Anderlecht and Galatasaray, scoring 16 goals for the latter last term.
Due to the fact that the 5 foot 9 forward is still having work permit problems, the Toffees look to have made the decision to sell the former Eupen man to Monaco for a reported sum of €15m (£13.7m) as it seems unlikely that he will ever get the chance to play for the Merseysiders.
He will reportedly commit to a long-term contract with the Ligue 1 side.
Let’s take a look at how the Everton fans on Twitter reacted to the news…
We seem to give players away.

Particularly gutted about this one. Why are Everton seemingly the only club to ever have issues with work permits? How do Monaco themselves work-around the WP fiasco?

If a player can’t get a visa what’s the point in keeping him? As for the fee I trust Brands to get the best deal possible end of ?
