Cenk Tosun was bought in January to help boost Everton's attacking threat.

The Turkey international, who is earning £145,000-a-week according to The Sun, took time to find his feet at Goodison Park, and he ended the 2017-18 season with a tally of five goals from 14 Premier League matches.

With Marco Silva now in charge, Tosun is struggling to make an impact in front of goal, but he has certainly had his chances.

The 27-year-old has started all five of Everton's Premier League matches and in that time has failed to hit the back of the net.

Silva recruited a handful of new signings in the summer transfer window, but a striker was not one of them.

At the moment, Tosun is not fulfilling that role, which has led some Everton fans to discuss what has gone wrong with their player.

The talk was held via Reddit following the Toffees' 3-1 defeat to West Ham United at Goodison Park on Sunday - their first defeat of the season.
