The Everton defence is currently clicking, and that is without summer signing Yerry Mina kicking a ball in blue.
Mina has spent the early parts of his debut Premier League season in the medical room with fellow Barcelona outcast Andre Gomes and had to watch on as the Portuguese midfielder made his Goodison Park debut at the weekend.
Gomes may only be on loan from the Catalan club but received a lot of praise for his debut, with fans hailing the grace with which the centre-midfielder took to the Premier League.

The Colombia international, meanwhile, was selected in the 18-man squad as a substitute proving he is nearing a debut of his own for the Toffees, with tough tests coming up against Manchester United and Chelsea before the Merseyside derby at the start of December.
Fans of the blue half of Liverpool, though, are asking a lot of the World Cup sensation having witnessed solid performances from Michael Keane and Chelsea-loanee Kurt Zouma so far in Marco Silva’s first season at the helm.
Here’s what Everton fans are saying on Twitter about the summer signing, who Transfermarkt value at £27million…
Our back 4 would be so boss with Wan-Bissaka at right back. Him and Zouma are ridiculous athletes, big Michael Keane or Yerry Mina alongside Zouma dominating in the air, Digne with poise and intelligence on the left.

Noticed the high amount of corners. We need to take better advantage of set plays. Yerry Mina to come might improve that….

Shame we can't have 'special teams' and bring Yerry Mina on when we have a corner.

Loads of positives today but bloody hell how many corners we going to need before we score from one?! Yerry Mina would be in double figures by now 😂

Keane was boss Today I would play him wit Mina. Yeah zouma been good but won’t be here at the the of season build a partnership that’s Gonna last

Pretty obvious Keane has been told to head everything and Zouma drops and covers. Works really well but long term Mina will do Keane's current role.
