According to reports in the Liverpool Echo, out of favour Everton winger Kevin Mirallas wants to decide his own future when the club appoint a new manager, and Toffees fans aren’t impressed.
The 30-year-old fell out with previous boss Ronald Koeman after a summer exit to Olympiacos failed to materialise, while he was banished from training by caretaker manager David Unsworth last Saturday because of a poor attitude.
Despite starting Unsworth’s first two games in charge, the Belgium international was dropped from the squad for the visit of Watford on Sunday following the incident, and even though his future with the Merseyside outfit appears to be in doubt the Liverpool Echo suggests he is keen to dictate whether he stays or goes in January.
Everton supporters were quick to have their say on the story via social media, and while one simply said “let him go now”, another said the club should ‘take the decision out of his hands’.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Stop his wages and let him go now.

One of the most frustrating players we’ve ever had. How many times has he been given a chance to impress but he’s alway been found wanting. Everton has never touched you or your countryman Lukaku, so just go! You’ve been a complete let down!! NSNO

Good! Has a good game every 5 games, better off without him

That's good of him. I hope the club have already decided to get rid of him regardless of who the new manager will be

Why does he think he has the right to decide?
