Meanwhile, the club have found Leighton Baines’s replacement in the form of Lucas Digne from Barcelona.
Everton continue to be linked to numerous names, particularly midfielders as the club are believed to be open to bringing in a central figure.

The 25-year-old, who is valued at £25.2m by Transfermarkt, came through the youth ranks at the Catalan club, but has struggled to establish himself as a regular in the team.
It may be time for the Brazilian to test himself with a new challenge elsewhere, but it would be a surprise if Everton was the destination.
