There were many shocked faces when Everton splashed around £40m on signing Richarlison from Watford in the summer.

The 21-year-old had only been known to English football fans for a year due to his time at Vicarage Road.

However, Everton boss Marco Silva was very familiar with the winger having worked with the youngster at Watford.

Not everyone was convinced by the price tag, but Richarlison swiftly became an important part of the team.

In total, the winger has played 11 games in all competitions, but more recently he has been used up front due to the lack of firepower from the club's strikers.

On Tuesday night, Richarlison came on as an early substitute for Brazil after Neymar went off injured and he went on to score in the friendly against Cameroon.
