Lots of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to reveal their disgust at the newly released home shirt for the upcoming 2019/20 campaign.
The shirt is synonymous with the steelwork designed by Archibald Leitch, the man who helped build the majority of Goodison Park along with a number of other famous football stadiums.
The fans in the video below had some very strong words for Michel Platini who was detained over alleged corruption this week…
The Toffees supporters have been made to wait for the big announcement by the club in regards to their new home strip, and judging by their responses on Twitter, the majority have been left feeling disappointed by the shirt.
A lot of the fans have been complaining about it, with one supporter criticising Umbro for their efforts despite making good shirts for West Ham, Hull and PSV.
It is safe to say that the Goodison faithful hate the new home shirt, and they certainly haven’t held back in slamming it on Twitter.
Let’s take a look at the best responses…
Awful shirt. Possibly the worst one in my lifetime.

Its dreadful. It looks nothing like The Archibald Leitch design. A multi year deal with @umbro is depressing.

Give me this any day. The new home kit is a very poor effort. pic.twitter.com/UsSyuEsN8Z

It’s dreadful whatever way you try to spin it

Horrible! Looks cheap, boring, and more like a training top. Very poor effort.

It’s a ? for me unfortunately. Need to lose Umbro.

How is it that Umbro release great kits this season for West Ham, Hull and PSV yet we get the same generic rubbish?

Not one to complain normally but this is genuinely terrible. Saved me some coin at least
