Jonjoe Kenny has started and indeed finished Everton’s last two Premier League matches in the right-back position, with Seamus Coleman on the bench.
Coleman was dropped following the 3-1 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month, with Kenny starting against Manchester City and Watford.
The Toffees followed their 2-0 loss against City with a 1-0 defeat at Watford, with their poor form leading to pressure on head coach Marco Silva.

The fact that Everton are no longer involved in this season’s FA Cup means that they now have a relatively long break before their next match.
Indeed, the Merseyside outfit are not back in action until they visit Cardiff City on February 26.
The Everton fans have been on social media discussing whether Kenny or Coleman should be selected in the right-back spot in Wales later this month.
And it would be fair to say that the supporters are struggling to agree.
Indeed, a selection of the Twitter reaction can be seen below:
I’m sorry but Kenny has earned his place. Seamus will have to win it back ??

I’d choose Coleman even with his broken leg.
