Most teams that head to the Emirates to take on Arsenal are labeled underdogs, and that was no different when Everton travelled down to North London for Sunday's Premier League encounter.

Marco Silva's side faced a difficult test, which was made even harder considering that their previous match ended in a shock 3-1 loss to West Ham United.

When the whistle blew for kickoff at the Emirates, the Merseyside outfit looked more than capable of taking the lead.

The team had handfuls of opportunities to get on the scoresheet, but ultimately failed to take them.

In the end, Everton were on the losing side of a 2-0 scoreline, with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting the goals for Arsenal.

After the match while speaking to the club's in-house channel, Silva insisted that his team deserved more than nothing.

However, the Portuguese coach did claim that his players need to be more "effective" when goalscoring chances come their way.

Some fans have now had their say - plenty feel positive about what they are seeing on the pitch but a few are taking a strong stance against the manager.
