Everton fans are once again praising the influence of Andre Gomes, as the summer signing put in another top display against Cardiff.
Everton moved into the top six for the first time this season on Saturday after a hard-fought win over Cardiff.
The Toffees have been in excellent form in recent weeks, and Gylfi Sigurdsson’s second half goal was enough to secure all three points.
While it certainly wasn’t a vintage Marco Silva performance, there were some impressive individual displays, notably from Michael Keane, Gomes and Sigurdsson.

The Portuguese international has become a fan favourite almost immediately at Goodison, and it’s not hard to see why.
The 25 year-old won five aerial duels and two tackles while also spraying the ball around impressively with an 86 per cent pass completion rate.
Gomes’ unique mixture of physicality and technique has stunned fans since his loan move, and the move to grab him this summer is looking like a stroke of genius from Silva and Brands.

Thoughts: Poor game to watch, Richarlison is allowed an off day and rather it’s now instead of next week.
Keane outstanding, Mina not as good as Chelsea but ok.
Lookman needs to start although Walcott was ok today.
Andre Gomes is the gear and easily man of the match. #EFC
