Everton beat Kenyan side Gor Mahia 4-0 in a mid-season friendly match on Wednesday, and fans are delighted to see Oumar Niasse back in action.
It was slightly bizarre hearing that Everton would play a friendly fixture squeezed in between two important Premier League matches, but it went exactly as Marco Silva had planned.
The Toffees cruised past Gor Mahia at Goodison Park, and plenty of first team players who have been out in the cold grabbed their chance to shine.
Yerry Mina looked right at home in the heart of defence, and it was his clever clearances that set up the counter attack for the second goal.
Ademola Lookman was probably the standout performer, scoring one and looking dangerous throughout.
Most of the praise is going towards Niasse though, who has become a bit of a cult hero at the club.
The 28-year-old is certainly not the most technically-gifted player in the squad, but you can never question his work ethic.
He grabbed the fourth goal of the game, firing in a delicious low drive from outside the box, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
