Everton have had a mixed season so far as they currently sit ninth in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of the top four.
Marco Silva made some decent additions in the summer transfer window, but there is one area that could do with improving.
At the moment, the Toffees’ main striker options are Cenk Tosun, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Oumar Niasse.
Neither of them have been able to consistently deliver so far, which has led Silva to move Richarlison from his wide role to a more advanced position.
The Brazilian has featured as a centre-forward in the last three Premier League matches, but that could all change if Everton dip into the January transfer market.
According to The Mirror, the Merseyside outfit are considering a £25m swoop for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
The hitman was crucial in the Foxes’ historic Premier League title win in 2016, and in total he has scored 65 goals in the top flight.
However, some Everton fans believe that Vardy is too old at the age of 31 to join Silva’s charge.
