Everton fans are loving the latest transfer links, after a report claimed they are one of several clubs lining up to take Marcus Rashford on loan.

According to the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho is considering Rashford’s future at Manchester United, and Everton, Leicester and Newcastle are all “among those lining up to take him on loan”.

Mourinho spoke out about the fact that he always opts for Romelu Lukaku last season, after the likes of Rashford and Anthony Martial failed to make an impact in the Red Devils’ 1-0 loss to Brighton.

Both Rashford and Martial could now leave the club, although it is likely the former will only be on loan.

A loan within the Premier League is most likely, and Everton are absolutely right to be interested in the 20 year-old, who scored a stunning goal in England’s friendly win at Elland Road last week.

Despite only starting 17 Premier League games, the Old Trafford wonderkid still managed seven goals and five assists last season, and would certainly get fans off their seats at Goodison.

Valued at £58.5m by Transfermarkt, getting the youngster on a season long loan would be quite the coup for the Toffees, and fans clearly agree.
