According to Football Insider, Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is open to selling Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The report claims that the new manager is keen to boost his transfer kitty and has identified Sigurdsson as a player who could be sold for the right price, albeit a summer move being more likely than a winter one.

The Iceland international has started all four of Everton's games under the leadership of Ancelotti but has not scored or registered an assist.

In fact, Sigurdsson has managed just two goals and one assist in 23 appearances during the 2019/20 campaign, and it would be fair to say that a lot of the club's supporters are keen for him to leave during the winter window.

A number of other supporters, meanwhile, have taken the chance to suggest other players that they also want to leave Goodison Park before the end of the month - with Theo Walcott, who has only managed nine goals in 72 games for the Toffees - a recurring name.

Did he play for Everton? Simple question but a lot tougher than you think...

Everton have shown improvement since Ancelotti's arrival, winning two of their last three in the Premier League, but they have lost their last two fixtures in all competitions to Manchester City and Liverpool.

Another fan, meanwhile, said that he was worried that the club would not be able to shift Sigurdsson, due to his struggles during the current season.

Meanwhile, Everton are reportedly not interested in signing this particular midfielder during the January transfer window despite recent suggestions.
