One of Everton's most exciting buys in the summer window was Yerry Mina from Barcelona.

The Colombian international signed for the Toffees in August for a fee of around £27m.

The 24-year-old, though, is yet to make his debut for the Merseyside outfit having been nursing an injury since arriving at Goodison Park.

This week the defender has been taking part in training, which indicates that he could be fit for Sunday's Premier League match against Crystal Palace on home soil.

If so, it will give manager Marco Silva plenty to think about with regards to team selection.

In recent matches Michael Keane and Kurt Zouma have marshalled the back line, and have been doing a decent job of it.

If Mina is thrown into the equation then one of those two centre-backs could miss out, which has sparked a discussion on social media.

Some Everton fans are keen for Silva to stick with his current back line, while others are desperate for Mina to come into the fold.
