According to The Guardian, Everton attacker Yannick Bolasie will leave the Merseyside club before this summer's transfer window closes for business.

The 29-year-old has only made 32 appearances for the Toffees since his transfer from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016, and he has only managed two goals.

A serious knee injury saw Bolasie miss more than 12 months of football between December 2016 and December 2017, but he did return to action in the second half of last season.

The 6ft 1in attacker managed just one goal in 17 appearances, however, and despite having a contract at Goodison Park until the summer of 2021, he has been strongly linked with an exit.

The Everton fans have been calling for Bolasie to leave throughout the summer, and it appears that they will get their way, with The Guardian reporting that the DR Congo international is on the verge of sealing a move away from Marco Silva's side.
