Everton fans ponder idea of Bilic taking over at Goodison Park

The writing was on the wall for Slaven Bilic at West Ham United this season, and the board took action on Monday morning.

The Croatian was relieved of his duties at the club’s training ground, two days after witnessing his team lose 4-1 to Liverpool at the London Stadium.

In 11 Premier League games, the East London outfit won just two, which has left the club in the relegation zone, one point from safety.

Elsewhere in the division is a club searching for a permanent manager, and now that Bilic is available, fans are discussing the possibility of his appointment.

Everton currently have Under-23s coach David Unsworth in charge of the first team following Ronald Koeman’s sacking.

The 44-year-old has made it clear that he wants the job on a permanent basis, but he has overseen just one win in four games.

Numerous names have been linked to the post at Goodison Park, and now Bilic, who joined Everton from West Ham in his playing days, has been discussed by fans as a new option.
