Everton fans react as club posts video of Cenk Tosun scoring during training camp

Everton’s official Twitter account posted a video of January addition Cenk Tosun scoring during the club’s warm-weather training camp on Monday, and Toffees fans were quick to have their say on the post.

The Merseyside outfit bought the striker in a £27m deal from Besiktas during the January transfer window, but despite the 26-year-old striker starting the opening two matches he has only played 12 minutes in their last three Premier League fixtures.

The Turkey international was claimed to be struggling to adapt to the pace of the English top flight and the weather according to manager Sam Allardyce via Sky Sports, but the centre-forward will hope to get a place in the starting XI for the trip to Watford this weekend, although the Goodison Park faithful aren’t too optimistic of that happening.

Everton supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the video, and while one said “still won’t start so what’s the point of putting it up”, another said “bet he doesn’t start the next game”.
