Everton announced on their official website on Thursday that Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Mason Holgate and Jonjoe Kenny had all signed new long-term contracts with the club, and Toffees fans were quick to have their say on the news.

The former has extended his stay at Goodison Park until 2023, while the latter two will be with the Merseyside outfit until at least 2022.

Despite being 20, 21 and 20 respectively, the trio have become key first-team players under the three managers they have worked under so far this season, with Calvert-Lewin scoring six goals and providing a further six assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Holgate and Kenny have established themselves as regular starters in the backline since Sam Allardyce was appointed last month, and they have featured 13 and 15 times respectively in total.

Everton supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the huge club announcement, and while one described it as "brilliant news", another simply said "I'm made up".
