According to reports in The Telegraph, Everton manager Marco Silva is ready to make a huge transfer call by handing midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin a fresh Goodison Park start, and Toffees fans have been quick to react to the rumour.

Previous reports in The Guardian on June 5 had suggested that the 28-year-old would be offloaded this summer following a largely disappointing 2017/18 campaign in which he was often heavily criticised by his own supporters for his performances, but now The Telegraph says that Silva wants to keep him on Merseyside.

It may well be a big decision by the 40-year-old, who could carry on with a central midfield duo of Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye next term rather than bringing in a new player in the middle of the park.

Everton supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the story, and while one described it as Silva's "first mistake", another believes it should be the midfielder's "last chance".
