Well, it would be fair to say that Seamus Coleman's attempt to rally the Everton supporters following Sunday's 3-1 loss at Bournemouth has not gone down well.

In an interview posted on the club's official website, Coleman insisted that the players must improve and "take responsibility" for the bad moments.

However, the Everton fans are simply having none of it.

Such messages are not usually well received on social media with the supporters wanting performances on the field rather than words off it.

Marco Silva's side have actually made a decent start to the 2019/20 campaign - a total of seven points leaving them in 11th position in the Premier League table.

Next up for the Merseyside giants is a home game against Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon, but the club's supporters are not interested in Coleman's attempts to rally the troops ahead of that encounter.
