Davy Klaassen scored an absolute rocket for Werder Bremen in their 1-1 draw with Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Friday night.

Klaassen's effort, which came just before the interval, ultimately earned his team a point and it was certainly some strike from the midfielder.

The Netherlands international has now scored three Bundesliga goals for Bremen this season, having arrived at the club from Everton last July.

Klaassen joined Everton in 2017 off the back of a 20-goal season with Ajax, but really struggled in England, failing to score in 16 appearances for the Toffees.

Now with Bremen, the 26-year-old appears to be enjoying his football once again.

A number of Everton fans took to social media to comment on the midfielder's effort, with some lavishing praise on the club's former player.
