Ademola Lookman made an early impression on the Everton faithful when he moved to Goodison Park from Charlton Athletic in January last year.
Shortly after coming on as a 90th-minute substitute to make his Premier League debut, the 20-year-old scored the team’s final goal in a 4-0 rout over Manchester City.
Since then, the young forward has made a further 14 appearances in the top flight, and this season he has had 13 outings in all competitions.
The youngster has not quite sealed a regular place in the first team, and it seems that he has a fight on his hands under manager Sam Allardyce.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees are deliberating whether or not to send Lookman on loan for the remainder of the season.
The England Under-20 World Cup winner last featured for the team at the beginning of January when he came on as a substitute in their defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup.
Amid the transfer speculation, Everton fans have been discussing what should be done about Lookman.
Sending Lookman out on loan could be the making of him if he could develop consistency like Kieran Dowell has at Forest this season. His flair and directness is needed in the first team, however, I feel the quality of opposition in the PL is a cause of his inconsistency #EFC

A loan move is exactly what Lookman needs. He has done ok coming off the bench against a tiring defence and in a nothing game in Cyprus. Lets not make out he has been ace all year. He started at Palace and was all over the place. He needs games and he won't get that at us. #EFC

Don’t loan him out. He’d boost our attacking options more. Why give our direct opposition additional firepower when we’re struggling to hit the target and create chances so badly #EFC #lookman #Everton

He should be getting more game time with us! Genuine pace and a promising prospect that’s not going to do anything rotting in our reserves

I’d rather our young players were playing but if they’re not going to be then they’re better off going out on loan, getting some games ready for next season rather than stagnating on the bench, becoming unhappy & leaving in the summer. #EFC #Lookman
