Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to their incredible deadline day business, and plenty are having their say on a minor disappointment in the Mina deal.
Everton have been dangerously thin at the back for what seems like an eternity, but Marco Silva and Marcel Brands have finally given the back four the extra dose of pace and youth it has been crying out for.
Yerry Mina and Kurt Zouma will bring pace, power and impressive maturity for such young players, and Lucas Digne will try his best to fill Leighton Baines’ shoes on the left flank.
According to reports, Mina’s move could have a little cloud over it though, as the Spanish champions have inserted a buy-back clause into his deal.
The report claims the Catalan club will have first priority to sign him back for £54m.
On the one hand, this would be massively disappointing if the Colombian colossus turn into a world class player, only to get up and leave when Barcelona come calling.
Still, doubling your money certainly isn’t bad business, and the buy-back clause could end up being another genius move from Brands to secure the deal. In fact, most fans are so happy they don’t even care about the potential hiccup.

Mina's buy back clause is reportedly 60 million. I think we can agree that if he gets to be worth that, we'll take it. https://t.co/0zUH6e1PQO

he has been very clear that he wants to play for barca, lets back him up to be an absolute beast though we know he will go back to them sooner or later,it will make us positioned for more dealings with them, also centrebacks are easy to find, this will just go well for us all.

So the two buyout clauses for Mina and Bernard come to €105million.
Not bad that… 70 million profit.

Solid business that! Stand to double our investment if he plays up to scratch, and if he’s playing that well we can only benefit from it

The problem I have with Barca’s buy back clause is they just take the player back and resell them

With this buy back clause isn’t this basically just a long term loan?
