Everton fans can’t believe their luck right now after Fabian Delph missed training ahead of the crucial clash with Southampton.
These reports from the Liverpool Echo come not long after Andre Gomes suffered his horrific injury against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Portugal international is set to miss many months because of his ankle fracture, however, he was recently discharged from hospital after a successful surgery.
Now, with Delph potentially missing the Southampton clash, it leaves Tom Davies and Morgan Schneiderlin as the two main options in centre-midfield. Davies has shown improvements over the past month, however, the Frenchman has rightfully so been placed on the bench with his dismal 6.07 rating thus far.
As a result, fans are not happy with the latest injury to Delph. The former Manchester City man has been a positive addition to the team, averaging 2.6 tackles and 4.9 long balls in the league so far.
One fan alluded to the fact they could be second from bottom with more losses, whilst another supporter questioned why everyone is getting injured lately.
Here’s what a select few have had to say…

That’s all we need another injury. We have been blighted with injuries. Really hope Fabian is available for selection this weekend. @EvertonBlueArmy .

We should just fold the club.
