Loads of Everton fans have been running the rule over the win against Fulham, and they’re absolutely delighted with the form of Idrissa Gueye.
Gueye is on course to absolutely smash the record for most tackles in a Premier League season, as the 29-year-old is currently averaging an absurd six per game.
Fans have often been divided on the Senegal international due to his limited technical ability, but he played out of his skin during the defeat at the Emirates and followed it up with a masterful performance against Fulham.
Gylfi Sigurdsson will get all the headlines for his wonderful brace and Cenk Tosun’s presence on the scoresheet is a huge relief, but Gueye was once again the star of the show.
The Toffees now host Southampton in the League Cup before a visit to Leicester City this weekend, and if their midfield enforcer plays and continues this form it’s hard to see them not getting a positive result from both games.
Fans have been heaping praise on the Koeman signing, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
