Ademola Lookman was public enemy number one during the summer months due to speculation about an Everton exit.

The 21-year-old was linked with a permanent move to RB Leipzig following his loan spell at the German outfit.

A transfer never materialised, but in a recent report by The Sun, Leipzig's director of football Paul Mitchell revealed that the club are still monitoring Lookman.

For the most part, the winger has been on the fringes of Marco Silva's Everton side this season.

In total, Lookman has featured in five Premier League matches, amounting to 104 minutes on the pitch.

On Tuesday night, the Toffees had a one-off match against African champions Gor Mahia, with the winner taking home the Sport Pesa trophy.

It was an opportunity for players to prove their ability to Silva at Goodison Park, and Lookman may have given the manager something to think about.

The winger scored the opening goal in a 4-0 triumph, which has led some fans to suggest that the young player should start ahead of Theo Walcott against Chelsea on Sunday.
