Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure once again impressed for his side in their 4-1 win against Premier League holders Chelsea at Vicarage Road on Monday night, and Everton fans have urged their club to sign the 25-year-old.

The Frenchman has been one of the Hornets' most consistent performers this season and it was no different in the victory against the Blues, in which he picked up two assists meaning he now has seven goals and three assists in 25 top flight appearances this term, as per Transfermarkt.

Meanwhile, despite being hugely influential in the second-half of the 2016/17 campaign, Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye have struggled to replicate those performances during the current season and the Goodison Park faithful obviously see it as a weak area – especially following their 5-1 defeat against Arsenal on Saturday.

Everton supporters were quick to have their say on Doucoure's display via social media, and while one said he is "exactly what we need", another said that "Doucoure is the answer to all our problems".
