Everton’s woes away from home in the English Premier League continued on Saturday after losing 1-0 against Watford at Vicarage Road.
The Toffees have now won just nine points in their last ten top-flight matches, frustrating fans with poor performances and results.
That’s led many to speculate on the long-term future of Sam Allardyce at the club.
After Saturday, most supporters are now completely losing patience with the former England boss, believing he is the wrong choice to take Everton forward.
Fans of the Football FanCast Accy Show will know that we tend to recommend a Premier League outright win treble each week. Those fans might also be aware that this coupon has paid out on many occasions—including the last PL game week!
Take a look at our latest top flight treble—as well as our very tempting EFL fourfold—in the latest edition of the show!
Much of the criticism has been aimed at his team selections, negative tactics and and substitutions. With the talent that Everton have available, should they be trying to scrape draws against the likes of Watford?
The lack of ambition on show during Saturday’s draw was apparent, with Everton creating very little in the opposition’s half.
Fans are now calling on the club to get rid of the manager, or at least not extend his stay beyond the end of the season.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
This is exactly Allardyce's level regardless of what he says. In any other job he's had where we are would be great. He's completely out of his depth at Everton no matter how much he tries to blag it in the press. I'm counting the days until he and his little gang are gone. #EFC

Allardyce muttering that we “should’ve at least got a 0-0” post match is not good enough away to Watford. He took the job because it was “too good to turn down.” It’s too big for him #EFC

The sheer arrogance and self belief of Allardyce after years and years of his teams playing like this is staggering. What’s even more staggering is that he was brought in to help us. So many people need sacking it’s hard to keep count #EFC

If that doesn’ttell you that we need to replace Allardyce now then nothing will. For all the quality players on the pitch today that was a dire performance. Hang your heads lads that was awful. Hope you had a good holiday #EFC

If Sam Allardyce gets another contract at Everton then we can officially label Moshiri's tenure at the club a failure. I'm embarrassed he was appointed, I'm just as embarrassed by him now #efc

Adios Allardyce, you will be sacked in the summer SURELY! #EFC

Everton continue to perform inconsistently and with minimal cohesion. We seem to have a good build up by accident more often than by design. Deserved to lose at Watford. Sack Allardyce. He’s doing nothing for the club or players. #EFC
