Everton booked their spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over Lincoln City at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

Lincoln are going very, very well in League Two this season, but there is no question that Everton fell below the standard expected of them once again.

Toffees boss Marco Silva selected a strong XI and among those in the team was Gylfi Sigurdsson, with the attacker playing 80 minutes of the clash.

It would be fair to say that Sigurdsson struggled to make his mark, however, and the Iceland international has been inconsistent throughout the campaign.

The 29-year-old, who joined Everton from Swansea City in the summer of 2017, has actually scored eight times in 21 Premier League appearances this season.

His goal record is good, but there have been a number of occasions where the attacker has struggled to inspire his team when they have needed it most.

And now a number of Everton fans seem to have now had enough of Sigurdsson when considering their reaction on social media:
