Everton are ready to lure Southampton boss Ronald Koeman to Goodison Park with promise of £100million worth of transfer funds, Mirror reports.
The 53-year-old has emerged as a prime candidate to take charge at the club following the sacking of Roberto Martinez.
Martinez was let go after leading his side to a shocking run of results, with the Toffees heading into the final game of the season in 12th place.
However, the Saints boss is believed to be keen on remaining with his current side, but could be persuaded into talks with the potential availability of a £100million transfer war chest.
In addition to that, major Everton shareholder Farhad Moshiri is also prepared to triple the Dutchman’s wages in hope of convincing him to make a switch.
Koeman has helped his side reach seventh in the Premier League table this term, but could finish even higher if results of other fixtures goes his way.
