Everton must save money and sign one of these left-backs instead of Kieran Tierney
According to reports in The Daily Mail, Everton manager Marco Silva is ready to bid to bring Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, and has £25m of his transfer budget earmarked to earmarked for the deal.
The Daily Mail says that the Merseyside outfit are ready to find out how much the Bhoys want for the Scotland international, with Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers all keen on him.
The report adds that the Portuguese boss has highlighted bringing a new full-back to Goodison Park as a priority, presumably to replace the ageing Leighton Baines who may well not be capable of being a regular in the starting XI next term.
That said, the 21-year-old has only recently signed a new six-year deal with the Scottish Premiership champions and likely won’t come on the cheap, and the Toffees should forget about spending £25m on him and get a better deal for someone else.
