Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has handed his side a boost by moving a step closer to fitness after being side-lined for the past month.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder could potentially be involved in the squad for their clash with QPR on Sunday.
David Moyes will not rush the former Manchester United man into action, but the midfielder used his twitter account to share the good news writing, “Scan went well 2day #buzzing.”
Having missed the past four games, his return will be a big boost for the club who are looking to build on their impressive league form this season.
Gibson stepped up his rehabilitation program last week and hopes to take part in a full training schedule this week.
