Everton Scouting Israeli Striker

Tomer Hemed

Everton boss David Moyes has sent scouts to watch Real Mallorca striker Tomer Hemed ahead of planning a summer move for the prolific striker, according to the Daily Mail.

Hemed was on target for Israel on Friday as they drew 3-3 at home to Portugal in their World Cup qualifier.

Everton have begun an extensive scouting routine to take a look at Hemed who has notched eight times for Mallorca this season in La Liga.

The 25 year old could be available for just £5million in the summer as Mallorca are one of a number of Spanish clubs struggling to cope with increased finances in football.

Moyes is looking to add more firepower to his Toffees side as Nikica Jelavaic and Kevin Mirallas have struggled to find the net regularly this season leaving Everton without a form striker.

The Merseyside club are on the tail of the top five in the Premier League and are desperate to land European football.
