Yesterday’s Everton transfer roundup documented the confirmed departure of a defender, bids made for a midfielder and Championship interest in a youngster. Today’s edition features Russian eyes on a winger, a first professional contract for a 19-year-old and an update on a Serie A defensive target.

CSKA eyeing Onyekuru

According to The Times, CSKA Moscow have contacted the Toffees about signing Henry Onyekuru. The 22-year-old Nigerian international spent last season on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray and scored 16 goals in 44 appearances for the Super Lig club.

Phillips contract confirmed

Everton have confirmed that striker Kieran Phillips has signed his first professional deal with them. It is a one-year contract that will end next summer. ā€œIā€™m so happy to sign a first pro contract for a big club with such a great history,ā€ he told the Goodison Park outfit’s official website.

Torino aim to keep Izzo

TuttoMercatoWeb is reporting that Torino are not interested in selling defender Armando Izzo. Everton have been previously credited with an interest in the 27-year-old Italian international, but the Serie A team want to retain his services.
