Everton Transfer Roundup: Rodrigo interest, Zouma wanted, youngster leaves on loan

Marco Silva’s preparations for the new season continue as Everton players report for the first day of pre-season training on Monday. Today’s Toffees transfer roundup includes interest in a Spanish international, the pursuit of a Premier League defender and the confirmed loan departure of one of the club’s youngsters.

Rodrigo on radar

The Sun is reporting that Everton could move for Valencia forward Rodrigo. According to the report, the former Bolton player wants a move back to the Premier League, with the player expected to cost in the £30m range.

Everton want Zouma return

According to Goal.com, Marco Silva wants Kurt Zouma to return to Goodison Park on a permanent basis this transfer window following his loan spell last campaign. Chelsea have reportedly set a price of around £30m for the former Saint-Etienne centre-back.

Kiersey joins Walsall

It was confirmed on Monday that Everton youngster Jack Kiersey will join Walsall on a short-term basis. Saddlers boss Darrell Clarke said, “Jack is someone I’ve monitored for a few years. It’s for the lad to prove himself over a short period and we’ll look to extend his contract if he produces the goods.”
