Everton’s hope of loan move ruled out

AC Milan striker M'Baye-NiangEverton’s hopes of signing striker M’Baye Niang on loan have taken a hit with the player’s agent ruling out a move to the Premier League.

The Frenchman turned down a transfer to Goodison Park during the summer, in favour of a switch to AC Milan from Caen.

However, the 17-year-old has barely featured for the Rossoneri since his arrival, prompting talk that the Goodison Park outfit could re-ignite their interest during January.

But, his agent Oscar Damiani told SkySports that no approach has been made and that his new club are not willing to let him leave:

“Everton were interested in taking him on loan after following him already in the summer, but AC Milan won’t consider that proposition.

“No offers for a permanent deal have come in, but I think AC Milan would say no.

“AC Milan consider Niang unsellable because they believe in his qualities and they want to count on him despite his mistakes.”

Arsenal were also interested in the starlet, but Damiani says there has been no contact from the Gunners:

“Are Arsenal interested too? There was contact in the summer, when he had a trial with the Gunners, but then Niang preferred to choose AC Milan’s proposal.”

Although he is widely regarded as a top talent, the youngster has been in trouble off of the pitch.

He was recently hit with a one-year ban from the French Football Federation following an unauthorised trip to a Paris nightclub whilst on international duty.
