Everton boss Ronald Koeman got off to a superb start at Goodison Park but has struggled to maintain that form since, with the Toffees starting to hit a sticky patch recently.
After winning four of their opening five Premier League matches, Everton have now won just one of their last five and are slipping in the process, with Watford now just a point behind Koeman’s European chasing outfit.
Everton are desperate to return to European competition next season and should be able to reach that target with their talented squad, although Koeman will need his side to dig deep and perform better in the coming matches.

6 – Everton have won just 6 points from their last 24 available in the Premier League, having won 13/15 at the start of the season. Slump.

Everton’s slump could derail their season if it continues and things will not get any easier in the month ahead, with the Toffees hosting Manchester United this weekend before travelling to Watford.
From there, Everton host Arsenal at Goodison Park before the small matter of the Merseyside derby just six days later. If things don’t improve by Christmas, Everton could slip into the bottom-half of the table as they’re currently just two points ahead of that position.
