Wayne Rooney has definitely had a pretty colourful career.
Sure, he is most known for his gig at Manchester United and is now tearing the MLS apart with his current club, DC United, but he did spend a short spell donning the blue kit of Everton either side of his spell at Old Trafford.
In 2017, Rooney left the Red Devils to link up with his boyhood club again and spent one season with the Toffees, managing a total of 11 goals and tallying three assists in 40 games.

It was a short but sweet adventure that ended in the summer of 2018 when he headed across the Atlantic ocean, once again as a free agent.
But now, he has shared a brilliant family snap on Instagram that will certainly take many fans a couple of years in the past after returning to English shores.
The 33-year-old forward captioned it as “Good to be home for a few days” and then thanked the club for sending over some new kits for him and his family.
Surely enough, Everton did reply as they just posted a series of blue heart emojis to show their support for their ex-ace.
