Carlo Ancelotti picked up a win in his first match in charge of Everton as they beat Burnley 1-0 at Goodison Park on Boxing Day, and the performance of Gylfi Sigurdsson was certainly a big talking point among the fans.
The Iceland international has come under plenty of criticism from the supporters for his displays this season, but he was once again named in the starting XI alongside Fabian Delph in the middle of the park against the Clarets.

What match are you watching? Gylfi’s been creative and defensively great today. His best performance of this season so far and it’s not even close. Ancelotti has made him play well again.

One individual claimed he was “the worst player on the pitch”, while another advised the Merseyside outfit to “get rid”.
