Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has celebrated the way in which team-mate Kevin Mirallas has adapted to life in the Premier League.

The Belgian winger arrived at Goodison Park last summer from Olympiakos, after an impressive spell with the club.

Although his form in Greece had been consistent, there were lingering doubts as to whether he would be able to adapt to the rigours of English football.

However, the 25-yea-old has hit the ground running, becoming a fans’ favourite already.

Fellaini praised the way in which his fellow countryman has adapted, and the selection of skills he brings to the team:

“Everybody knows he has quality,” he told the Liverpool Echo.

“He can score goals and is an important player for Everton. Every game he can contribute and I think he has. I hope for him that he keeps going like this.

“He can dribble and is involved in the action, which is important for forward players. He can score goals and takes good corners, so he is important for the team.”

Despite his glowing assessment of Mirallas, Fellaini still believes the wide man can improve in the blue shirt and that the club’s spectators haven’t seen the very best he has to offer just yet:

“Of course there is more to come from him."

Fellaini himself has been in fine for this season, leading to speculation that he could leave to join Chelsea this summer.
