Everton are looking to sign Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes during the summer transfer window, as has been reported by The Mirror.
This comes with Carlo Ancelotti and the Toffees hierarchy classing the centre-back position as their priority in the window, as there are only three senior players in the squad to fulfil that role.
The general consensus seems to be that Evertonians are behind their club making the move to sign the Brazilian, who would cost close to £30m.

One has told the club to “make it happen”, while another has suggested that “it could be a great signing for us”.
The centre-back has recorded some impressive statistics during the six Champions League games he has played this season, making 2 tackles, 2.2 interceptions, 3.7 clearances and 1 block – though he does commit 2 fouls per game.
It seems as though this has meant that Toffees fans have high hopes for the Brazilian if he makes the move to Goodison Park.
I think this would be would be an excellent signing! Make it happen

Nice one mate. Obviously you won’t want to lose him but from what I’ve heard, it could be a great signing for us.

There is thought of who could be sacrificed for him to come in, whether that is to actually get the 22-year-old into the club, or fitting him into the starting lineup, with one fan saying “give them £30m and Niasse”.
A reason for concern, it seems, is who would come out of the team, with Yerry Mina, Mason Holgate and Michael Keane all fighting for a place when fit as it is.
One fan has suggested Holgate may need a change of position to stay in the team, but claimed that Gabriel “looks ideal”, so it seems it is deemed worth risking game time for other players to get him in.
Give them £30m and niasse

Looks ideal for what we need I’m assuming he’d be playing alongside Mina, but what happens to Holgate? Defensive Mid perhaps?
