Gary Lineker played for multiple Premier League titans throughout his illustrious career and even though he didn't really spend that much time at Everton he still left quite an impression. The now 59-year-old former centre-forward scored 30 goals and assisted one in the 35 games Transfermarkt have in their database for that period of his career.

Did he really play for us?! No Everton fan has managed to name all of these obscure Toffees players....

Earlier this week, on February 11th, Lineker celebrated the anniversary of a memorable display for the Toffees.

On that day in 1986, the forward scored a hat-trick against Manchester City, helping Everton to a remarkable 4-0 victory on the night in the process.

But interestingly enough, he couldn't resist the opportunity to rinse his opponent in the process, stating that he couldn't have done it without the assistance from Man City's players themselves.

Of course, that was a dig at those players who essentially served him the goals on a silver platter, with two goals coming directly from the opponent's mistakes.

But he still had the skill to put them all away.

Meanwhile, many Everton fans were simply not happy with the latest Oumar Niasse claim...
