He’s quality: Everton fans throw their support behind Mina

Yerry Mina only made 13 Premier League appearances for Everton last season following his arrival from Barcelona in August 2018.

Injuries made it very difficult for the centre-back during his first year in England.

However, the 24-year-old again showed his credentials with a fine performance for Colombia in their 2-0 win over Argentina at the Copa America on Saturday night.

Mina was excellent at the heart of the defence as Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi both struggled to get the better of the towering centre-back.

The Everton fans have since been on social media offering their views on Mina.

And it seems that many are still confident that he will prove to be a good signing for the Toffees.

It was always going to be tough for the South American, who only joined Barca last January, during his first season in English football.
