Sandro Ramirez looks to be on the brink of an early exit from Everton, but with depth up front already a problem, could it be a mistake from Marco Silva and Marcel Brands?

According to Diario Vasco, Sandro is set to fly out to Spain for before completing a move to Real Sociedad.

The report claims the Toffees have now sanctioned the striker’s exit, and that he will have a medical with the La Liga outfit on Thursday.

The deal is expected to be a one-year loan, but with the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

The good news is that Ademola Lookman is now expected to stay at the club as Sports Witness reports only one of them would be allowed to leave, but could it still be a mistake to let Sandro go?

The Spaniard has had a nightmare time since making the switch to Merseyside, making just eight Premier League appearances, before failing to find the net in 13 league appearances on loan with Sevilla.

However, the Toffees are not loaded with depth up front, and an injury to Cenk Tosun would leave them heavily reliant on the inexperienced Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the inconsistent Oumar Niasse.

With Silva’s high-tempo pressing style bound to inflict some injuries as the season wears on, he could regret dumping a player who scored 14 La Liga goals in the 2016-17 season.
