HYS: Should Oumar Niasse get a starting chance for Everton against Lincoln City?

Everton host League Two leaders Lincoln City at Goodison Park on Saturday in an FA Cup Third Round clash.

The Toffees go into the game on a terrible run of form, having won just once in their last five matches. However, against lower league opposition, Marco Silva’s side will be heavy favourites to get back to winning ways this weekend.

This fixture ought to also offer Silva an opportunity to rotate his squad. Amongst those who will be hoping for inclusion in the starting XI against the Imps is Oumar Niasse.

The 28-year-old striker has made just seven appearances for the Merseyside outfit in all competitions this season, and will be itching to get another chance to prove his worth. With Cenk Tosun struggling to impress up front in the Premier League, a good performance against Lincoln could prompt Silva to give Niasse further opportunities in the league.

Passing up the chance to hand Niasse this game to prove his worth would be foolish on Silva’s part.

What do you think, Everton fans, should Niasse start against Lincoln?
