Ademola Lookman needed to win over some Everton fans this season after the summer transfer window closed.

It was widely reported that the winger could end up at RB Leipzig on a permanent basis following his short-term loan spell last season.

It appears that most of the anger has waned, but Lookman has been unable to showcase his talent on the pitch this season.

Under manager Marco Silva, the 21-year-old has only made seven appearances in all competitions, but not one Premier League start.

Some fans want Lookman to be given a chance ahead of Theo Walcott, but at the moment it seems that he will remain on the fringes.

Leipzig were open about their desire to sign the winger in the summer, and with the January transfer window fast approaching, perhaps they will reignite their pursuit.

If the German club do so, will Everton be able to keep hold of him?
