Oumar Niasse has spoken out about the rumours circulating that he could leave Everton, and plenty of fans are hoping he stays on Merseyside.
Niasse has been heavily linked with a move to Turkey, and the tenacious striker has had his say on the latest reports.
According to the Turkish branch of CNN, both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are eyeing a swoop for the 28 year-old, with first team opportunities limited at Goodison.
“I cannot say anything about my situation at Everton because no message has came to me about whether I should go or stay. My contract with the club continues, but there is nothing wrong with me,” the striker told Turkish outlet Fanatik.
“I love Turkey. It is a big club (Galatasaray) and will play in the UEFA Champions League. They also have a big manager like Fatih Terim, but it is between the clubs because it’s not up to me.”
Niasse is not the most talented player to ever wear the blue shirt, but he is certainly one of the hardest working, and his tireless work ethic has endeared him to plenty of fans.
The striker doesn’t exactly sound like he wants to leave, but he clearly wouldn’t hesitate if the chance to get regular first team minutes arrived.
While a few fans still have concerns over his ability, most are pleading with him to stay, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
Sounds like he doesn’t want to leave the club anytime soon. I’d love him stay and prove us all wrong again. Can’t fault his work rate or attitude. #EFC

Whatever happens, can’t question his commitment, work ethic and good nature. Gave everything he had. The baseline to win over any Toffee which many more talented players fail to achieve.
