Everton boss Roberto Martinez could get sacked by the club if his side fail to beat Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final this weekend, Mirror reports.
Martinez has been under heavy pressure from the fans after being unable to pick up a single win from his last nine Premier League matches.
The latest defeat, a 4-0 Merseyside Derby loss to rivals Liverpool, looks to have put his job in further risk, with new major shareholder Farhad Moshiri considering his options.
The Spaniard’s fate is set to be determined by whether or not he can lead the Toffees to FA Cup glory, an outcome that will need to see them beat United at Wembley tomorrow.
Moshiri is believed to be ready to invest a large amount of funds into the club during the summer as he plots to overhaul the squad.
Another task for him will be whether or not he can convince star duo Romelu Lukaku and John Stones to snub an exit amid interest from both Chelsea and United.
